This project's front and back yards both had good 'bones' including mature fruit trees, some existing hardscape, and spaces already designated for activities like edible gardening, kids' play, and entertaining. With this foundation, we were able to strategically use planting, permeable materials, and woodworking to create an entirely new experience.
